At 10:29 a.m. on February 21, the C4105 intercity high-speed train from Chenzhou to Guangzhou’s Baiyun District slowly departed from Chenzhou Railway Station. This is the first intercity high-speed train departing from Chenzhou Railway Station, greatly improving passenger travel efficiency and riding experience, providing more convenient travel options for working and business travelers traveling between Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao.
On that day, Chenzhou Railway Station experienced its first peak of return trips after the 2026 Spring Festival travel rush, sending 15,000 passengers in a single day.
To cope with the continuously increasing passenger flow, the station has opened three additional temporary trains, including the C4105 intercity high-speed train, as well as the K6591 train departing at 16:28 to Guangzhou Baiyun Station and the K6601 train departing at 23:10 to Dongguan East Station.
