In August 2024, Chenzhou Land Port launched a new model of Nigeria-Chenzhou sea-rail intermodal transport service through bill of lading for the first time. This model utilizes the tripartite cooperation of railways, ports, and shipping companies to complete all procedures for imported products at Chenzhou Land Port.

This new mode can significantly shorten transportation time, reduce logistics costs, and ensure goods safety.

In 2025, this business has been growing rapidly, with various kinds of mineral products such as lead-zinc ore, antimony ore, fluorite pouring in, and an increasing import volume. It is expected that the volume of goods imported through this mode will exceed 10,000 tons throughout the year.
