This is the first time that Hunan Fengchu Food Co., Ltd. has sold its products overseas through independent export. This marks a substantial breakthrough in the company's foreign trade business, as well as a solid step towards the international market for Suxian's characteristic food.

Qifengdu fish rice noodles, as a highly representative culinary icon of Chenzhou, has been included in the list of intangible cultural heritage in Hunan Province and enjoys great popularity in the domestic market.

Fengchu Food has been deeply developing this characteristic product for many years. Not only has it successfully developed convenient packaging products to achieve industrial upgrading, but it has also brought this traditional delicacy into thousands of households.

It has won multiple honors such as the Gold Award at the Central China (Hunan) International Agricultural Expo.

Previously, Fengchu Food's products have been exported to some countries and regions such as the United States and Southeast Asia by commission.

In September 2025, with the support of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Fengchu Food participated in the Food2China Exp in Guangzhou.

With its unique flavor and excellent quality, it won the favor of Uzbek buyers. The two sides reached an intention and finally implemented it.

“The success of independent exports is a milestone for our company. In the past, relying on agents made it difficult for us to directly reach overseas consumers, which also restrained the enhancement of brand influence. The successful entry to the Uzbekistan market this time cannot be separated from the comprehensive support of government departments, which also gives us the confidence to showcase the ‘Suxian flavor’ on the international stage,” said Hu Jianhua, chairman of Fengchu Food.

Wang Ge, deputy director of the Commerce Bureau of Suxian District, said, “the independent overseas expansion of Qifengdu fish rice noodles is a vivid practice of Suxian District's efforts to promote characteristic industries to go global. Next, we will continue to optimize the business environment, focus on the foreign trade needs of more local enterprises, provide full process and refined services to help enterprises solve development problems, and stimulate their enthusiasm and confidence in exploring international markets.”
