An agricultural product production and sales matchmaking meeting for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA), one of the activities during the 2025 Hunan (Chenzhou) Excellent Characteristic Agricultural Products Expo, was held on December 23.

Multiple buyers from the GBA signed contracts with local agricultural enterprises in Chenzhou, with a cooperation intention value of about 90 million yuan, demonstrating the vigorous vitality and broad prospects of agricultural cooperation between Hunan and Guangdong provinces.
This special event promoted the deep connection between high-quality agricultural products in Chenzhou and GBA market by building an efficient and pragmatic matchmaking platform.
The event included industry promotion, purchaser sharing, centralized signing, and one-on-one negotiations, comprehensively showcasing the industrial advantages, product features, and cooperation sincerity of Chenzhou.

The scope of contracted products cover characteristic agricultural products including oranges, alpine vegetables and selenium-rich rice, as well as regional public brand products like Yongxing Bingtang Orange, Yizhang navel oranges and Dongjiang fish, which undoubtedly further shows the popularity and competitiveness of Chenzhou’s agricultural products in the GBA market.
As the forefront of Hunan's connection with the GBA, Chenzhou has built 251 “vegetable basket” production bases for the GBA, ranking first among prefecture level cities in China in terms of quantity. This signing will further expand the channels for Chenzhou’s agricultural products to enter the GBA market, strengthen the supply chain connection from the production area to the sales area, and promote the deep level collaborative development of cooperation.
To promote “Chenpin Chenwei” products into the GBA, Chenzhou has carried out special promotions, deepened production and sales cooperation mechanisms, held multiple production and sales matchmaking activities in Guangzhou, Foshan, Dongguan and other places, to promote the direct supply of characteristic agricultural products such as Dongjiang fish and high-altitude vegetables to the GBA market.

Relying on the GBA agricultural products production and sales matchmaking platform, it has established specialized sales channels, and laid out brand marketing centers in Dongguan and other places to continuously enhance brand visibility and market penetration.
