During this year’s May Day holiday, the tourism in Chenzhou continued to be popular, with a surging number of visitors in the cultural tourism market.

 

To better promote Chenzhou to visitors around the country, a tweet titled “selecting ten lucky tourists to enjoy free travel in Chenzhou” was posted, and ten lucky viewers were selected out, who enjoyed a free journey in Chenzhou with their friends and family members from May 23 to 25. 

 

The 3 days and 2 nights tour featured the historical culture and unique natural landscapes of Chenzhou. The visitors visited 711 Time Town, Yuhou Street, Feitian Mountain and other scenic spots. 

 

It aimed to attract more tourists to visit Chenzhou through word-of-mouth marketing by inviting lucky tourists to experience the cultural and tourism resources of Chenzhou.

 

This year’s China Tourism Day also fell in May. The city government has joined hands with the counties to launch a series of cultural tourism activities. 

 

A self-drive wellness tour was launched in Yongxing County. Colorful study activities were held at Chenzhou Museum. Guiyang County launched a special exhibition to showcase 64 intangible cultural heritage projects. Tourists can visit traditional operas and experience zongzi making in Rucheng County during the upcoming Dragon Boat Festival. 

 

Through colorful cultural tourism activities, it integrates history, ecology, intangible cultural heritage and other elements to present its urban charm, make its cultural tourism brand more popular, and boost the high-quality development of the cultural tourism.
