The Chenzhou Self-drive Wellness Tourism Activity was launched in Feitian Mountain Scenic Area of Chenzhou City on May 15, with more than 200 self-drive enthusiasts from Guangdong, Hong Kong, Macao and surrounding areas participating. 

 

They would pass through the Danxia landform and Xu Xiake’s tour route from Chenzhou to Yongxing County. At the same time, a special activity of tasting rural agricultural and sideline products was held in Dongtou Yedu Holiday Camp in Yongxing County. 

 

Danxia landform, pastoral scenery, wellness tour, food tasting, leisure and entertainment and agricultural and sideline products purchasing were integrated to present the natural environment, characteristic products and high-quality services of self-drive wellness tour in Chenzhou.  

 

To build a renowned city for self-drive wellness tourism in China, the city government planned to launch annual self-drive wellness tourism activities between May 2025 and April 2027, with over 30 related activities to be held around the city. 

 

 

Cultural tourism consumption vouchers, brochures and promotional leaflets of Yangtian Lake Grassland, Longnyu Hot Spring Scenic Area were distributed on May 17 in Beihu District.

 

 

The Yangtian Lake Grassland launched a single youth-themed activity on May 18. 

 

 

A signature activity with the theme of “protecting ecological environment and earth home starts with me” was held in Suxian Ridge Scenic Area on May 19. 

 

 

The launching ceremony of the cultural venue service publicity week and cultural tourism volunteer services were carried out in Yuhou Street, including an intangible cultural heritage market and artistic performances. 

 

 

A cultural tourism event with the theme of “exploring the Shennong culture and wellness culture and Enjoying a Beautiful Journey” was held in Anren County on May 18. 

 

 

At the opening ceremony, the cultural tourism authority of Anren county organized representatives from tourism enterprises, travel agencies and the masses to jointly sign a commitment letter for civilized tourism.

 

The cultural tourism promotion song “Anren Ballad” and the “”Anren cultural tourism passport” were also launched. It also joined hands with Chaling County and Yanling County in Zhuzhou City to release an electronic map and a three-day and two-night tour route themed Shennong wellness. 

 

 

2,000 free tickets were provided by Dishuiyuan Scenic Area and Ziwei Tianxia Scenic Area on May 19, attracting a large number of citizens and tourists and driving a year-on-year increase of over 30% in tourist flow.

 

 

 

The Guidong county government cooperated with scenic spots to promote the China Tourism Day, and launched special offers for Red study tour and ecological wellness tour with five travel agencies on May 19. 

Red stories were told at the scenic spot where chairman Mao Zedong issued three disciplines and six points of attention, with 15 batches of tourists received. 

 

 

 

On May 19, the Light and Shadow Art Food Amusement Carnival was held at the China Yindu Cultural and Creative Park. It aimed to promote art and food culture, allow visitors to personally experience the charm and culinary styles of various parts of the world, enhance the construction of the city's cultural industry, and enrich people's leisure time. 

 

 

At the same time, tourists could enjoy half-price discounts at the national 4A scenic spot Banliang Ancient Village and 3A scenic spot China White Silver Workshop on May 19.
