Among them, Yangtian Lake Grassland, Mangshan Wuzhi Peak, and Feitian Mountain-Cuijiang River have successively issued notices on tourist flow control and suspension of ticket sales, reminding them to visit during off-peak periods.

 

According to the modeling of China Mobile's mobile phone signaling data by the Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, the total passenger flow in Chenzhou City reached 951,000, including 211,600 visitors from other provinces, with a year-on-year growth rate 33 percentage points higher than the provincial average. 

 

According to the Hunan Cultural and Tourism Statistics Platform, as of 12:00 on May 2, the 32 tourist attractions monitored in Chenzhou city received 434,200 visitors, a year-on-year increase of 34.79%, and achieved a revenue of 48.0023 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 20.12%. 

 

Among them, the Yangtian Lake Grassland Scenic Area welcomed 30,600 visitors, a year-on-year increase of 101.32%, and achieved a revenue of 3.08 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 205.99%. 

 

 

Gaoyi Ridge Tourist Area received 22,100 visitors and generated tourism revenue of 1.402 million yuan, up 67.17% and 72.23% year on year respectively. 

 

Yuhou Street ranked 10th in terms of daily visitor flow among A-level scenic spots in the province. Guiyang County’s cultural venues ranked 6th in the daily visitor flow among cultural centers across the province. The Chenzhou Museum ranked 8th in the daily visitor flow among museums in the province.

 

During this year’s May Day holiday, scenic spots in Chenzhou city launched diverse cultural and tourism activities to attract tourists. Dongjiang Lake Tourist Area created immersive experience scenes, including intangible cultural heritage face changing and aerial ballet stunts. 

 

The Mangshan Wuzhifeng Scenic Area combined natural wonders with cultural creativity, where flower gods parade on the plank road in the air. 

 

The Yangtian Lake Grassland Scenic Area has upgraded its travel experience by adding the welcoming show, outdoor sitcom parade, and interactive lucky draws while retaining classic projects such as horseback riding and grass skiing. The rich activities, plus the grassland ecological landscape greatly enhanced visitors’ immersive experience.

 

During the May Day holiday, while providing good reception services, various scenic spots in Chenzhou reminded tourists to follow the updates in advance and plan their trips reasonably.
