The work focuses on the inheritance of the spirit of “Half a Quilt” in Shazhou Village. Through two years of follow-up interviews, it records the colorful lives of young adolescents. They serve as “Little Guides” to tell revolutionary stories, study Yao embroidery, learn burning incense dragon making skills, play football, and practice frugality.

The author went into classrooms and fields to capture details and restore real scenes, depicting vivid images of the young figures in this era.
