This has not only driven local villagers to increase income, but also further strengthened the village collective economy, injecting new impetus into rural revitalization.

 

Flamingo lily seedlings are growing well in the planting base. Unlike traditional planting methods, all flamingo lilies here are cultivated in intelligent greenhouses, with real-time monitoring of environmental parameters such as temperature, humidity, and light through IoT technology to ensure that each one can grow under the most suitable conditions.

 

 

Li Tao, head of the base, said, “Each flamingo lily seedling needs meticulous care. In addition to the assistance of equipment, we also manually inspect each seedling tray to ensure that there are no pests, and adjust the cultivation plan in a timely manner.”

 

After 9 years of development, the planting area of the base has reached about 40,000 square meters, and it can produce 720,000 pots of medium and high-end potted flowers throughout the year, with an annual output value of over 12.4 million yuan. 

 

 

In 2023, 7,000 square meters of high-standard and intelligent multi-span greenhouses in Wenxi Base, jointly invested by 9 villages with 2.4 million yuan, have been put into use.

 

This further expands the industrial scale, and there are now different varieties of flamingo lily like yellow and pink in addition to the red ones.  

 

 

The base can not only improve employment and increase income for the villagers, but also can promote the modernization of the agricultural industry and enhance the collective economy of the village.
