Three of the world's eight major migratory routes pass through China, and the one in Guidong county is the second largest in inland China. Every spring, countless birds migrate north to escape the heat.

 

In recent years, as the ecological conditions in Guidong have been continuously improving, migratory birds have regarded it as a “recharging station”. In early summer, many migratory birds can still be seen in Guidong county.
