They first came to the Guiyang Cultural Park Study Base, where a shocking ceremony called “Opening the City Gate” was held against the backdrop of Three Kingdoms culture.

With Hunan Opera and historical scenes, the scene of Zhao Fan, governor of Guiyang County, leading locals to welcome the famous general Zhao Zilong, was reproduced.

At 3:30 p.m., as the war drums beat, soldiers dressed in armor and Hunan opera actors welcomed the guests with ancient martial arts rituals. Teachers and students experienced the highest-level welcoming ceremony in ancient counties.

“The biggest novelty for students on this trip is to step out of the classroom and see the knowledge in books become a reality in front of them,” said teacher Tian Yixin. Chenzhou is a city suitable for study, for its beautiful natural scenery and Red cultural resources. She hoped that students can gain some knowledge from this activity.

During the study tour, teachers and students will not only immerse themselves in the unique charm of the millennium-old county at the Guiyang Cultural Park study base, but also visit the 711 Mine and the Xiangnan Uprising Memorial Hall to draw strength from the spiritual cradle of nuclear industry and the holy land of the Red Revolution.

They will also go to Mangshan Wuzhi Peak to admire the sea of clouds and peak forests, explore the mist-enveloped Dongjiang Lake. Then they’ll explore the epic evolution of Danxia and karst landforms over billions of years in Feitian Mountain and Wanhua Rock Geopark.
